  2. The water is great in October. There could be some Jellyfish but not in all the beaches and not all the time. Water temperature can be in the upper 80's.

  3. The water in The Bahamas is generally warm in October (75-85 degrees Fahrenheit). This usually makes the islands excellent candidates for hurricanes during this time of the year. Jellyfish sightings are pretty much relative depending on which island you visit and the beaches or swimming sites found there. When you arrive to your particular destination (island of The Bahamas), ask any native for advice.
