  1. It really depends. Sometimes it gets actually cold, and by that I mean it'll drop down into the thirties during the day. But only a few days out of the year; most of the time it's perfect, or even hot. And honestly winter only goes from December to January. But that's in Southern Arizona; it gets actually, objectively cold and snowy in Northern Arizona.


  2. It depends on whether you are talking about the higher elevations and mountains, such as in Flagstaff as well as the higher areas of northern and northeast Arizona, or the lower deserts such as the Phoenix area and points south and west.  

    It is typically mild over the lower deserts with highs averaging in the 60s and lows in the lower 40's...though a few freezes can occur.  It is colder over the higher elevations, with Flagstaff averaging around 100 inches of snow during the snow season.  Average wintertime high temperatures there are     in the lower 40's with lows in the teens.  

  3. Much like Los Angeles, however it does snow there not like L.A.
