How is the weather in Greece (Delphi, Athens, etc) in December?

It is almost Mediterranean country so the weather is mild. They have snow in the mountains, and away from the ocean.

December can be cold by Indian standards.

Really changes year after year -Athens- sometimes it's cold with sun - sometimes bitterly cold with wind / rain- I even remember snow around Dec (Northern Athens). Delphi will be colder than Athens - more likely to rain/ snow. The snow/ski centre is nr Delphi - slightly higher than Arakavo, although snow is rare in Dec it still may snow - be prepared!

December is the middle of winter so it would be cold.Winters are very mild in Athens but at Delphi I'm sure you'll find snow.Have fun .Yia sou.

My wife and I went to Athens last December for 11 days.  In Athens the weather was perfect.  However we went to northern Greece where I have relatives and the first three days were perfect and the last four days we had snow.  As long as you stay in the Athens area, you will be fine!  Hope this helps!
