How is the weather in Jamaica now?

I'm leaving for Jamaica August 4 God willing, but I know it's hurricaine season so curious how it's been lately.

very very hot in Kingston. However if you are going to mandeville or spalding, Manchester your wont miss the cold climate you are accustom to.

currently at this moment july30th,2008 at 7:00 its kind off overcast but usually its really sunny really really sunny and HOT!!!

I live in Jamaica, I'm there now and its hot and sunny! Its gorgeous! Although its been hurricane season there's been none had two rainy days last week though. Oh and no its not humid. You can email if you want a regular up date. Hope you have a great time!!!

My gosh it is so hot down there especially in August.  That's when my daughter and I went.  But we lucked out and had no rain.

I am sure you will enjoy it no matter what.  It was very beautiful and the people were so kind and wonderful.  I would love to go back again.   Only maybe in late October early November.

Hot &very humid....with showers that come & go

Temps are in the low to mid 80s F. There are showers all week, but otherwise the skies are fairly clear and there are no tropical storms forming in the Atlantic, which is a good thing.
