How is the weather in London during September?

The last time I spent a week in London during September, the temp was pleasant and it only rained one day...

Not too hot, not too cold.  Okay month for a hotel room with no a/c.

Hopefully this September should be alright... the "Summer" has been pretty average so far, but the weather people are saying it should improve a lot through August and September.  Fingers crossed anyway!
