How is the weather in St. Thomas in early September?

I know it's a totally different place, but everytime I went to Hawaii in early September, it has always been overcast and hazy. I would rather have clear skies. So just wondering if it's clear and not gloomy in Virgin Islands during September?

Its never gloomy in the Caribbean, I live in Puerto Rico, which is very near to St. Thomas, and we only have hazy days if we get covered by the Shara desert clouds, other than that, September is a very active month when it comes to rain and hurricanes, is the most dangerous month.

The average high is almost 90F and the average low is 77F, according to the chart below. However, it does rain more months than most with more than 5 inches of total rainfall.

That's actually better than some places in the Caribbean, which get more than twice that amount of rain in September. Some others get less. If you are open to other places in the Caribbean, you might want to expand your search.

Caribbean hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th with the highest occurrences of storms in August and September. The rainiest months are May, August, Sept, and Oct and Nov.

The average high in september is 80ºF and the average low is 55ºF, but you have to remember it is hurrican season and your trip could be cancelled or you could get stuck there during a hurricane, but it's highly unlikely this year, it is already july and there hasn't been a hurricane, and they arent predicting any big one's,,plus  it rains everyday in the carribean and florida from june to mid august-end october, so you may have some bad storms in the afternoon
