How is the weather in cancun,mexico?

im goin to cancun december 13 and it will be my 3rd time...ive never gone in december so i worried dat i cant get a tan lol and swim n stuff......evry where i look it says 81 or 82 w scatterd showers............thanks 4 ur help

yeah probably it will rain a day or two. but you can get a tan actually you get a better tan when it is cloudy. sounds silly but its true

Well i just returned from cancun on dec.2nd and the weather was very nice.  well let me say this i have a very very nice tan!!!

anyways it was not burning hot like in the 90's but the highest was about 80 which was still cool. I stayed in the RIU Palace Las Americas and it is right off the beach i spent everyday on the beach so i am sure you will have a good time and good weather.!!! good luck!

Hi,

The daytime temperature will run between 80 and 82 degrees F, at night it will cool off to 69 to 70 degrees F. You will enjoy all your time. You will have plenty of sun, don't worry about the scattered showers. You are on the Caribbean Sea,  the water temperature in December runs around 74 degrees F. So beach going and swimming will be no problem.

Normally it is warm (but not oppressively) and sunny.   Occasionally a cold air current from the north will hit and it will go down to 70...at least thats what happened for a few days when I visited,  I decided it was a good time to see the Mayan ruins.
