How is the weather in cincinnati around september?

i am visiting King's Island park the last weekend of Septemeber. How is the weather there normally? I am from out of state. How packed will Kings Island be? The amusement park in our state is only busy during the summer. In the fall, the wait per ride is less than 10mins and the operators let you stay in your seat and repeat the ride if there are not anyone else waiting.

If you are going on a weekend it will probably still be crowded but no longer than a 45 min wait...if during the week you won't have to wait at all.  And the weather could either be really hot, just nice, or freezing cold...Ohio has the weirdest weather especially in the spring and fall when it can be anywhere across the board

AWESOME!!! its really the best time to come, IF you like cooler weather! Its usually not 90 in step. but again its Ohio.

heyyy i live in cincinnati and actually work at kings island! dude the park hasnt been busy at all this year (becuase of gas i think...) so i wouldnt worry about it being busy unless you go on a holiday or concert day.

as for what to wear...it's still usually pretty warm i feel like in september. yea i guess you'll just have to watch the weather closer to the time you go...but shorts and a tshirt are probably fine and maybe a sweatshirrt at night?

Weather forecasts in Cincinnati are accurate four hours in advance and two hours in arrears. For two hours after it happens, they are pretty clear what occurred. Then all the data comes in and they are confused again.

Its really hard to predict.  The first 2 weeks or so of September are always still hot.  The second two weeks can go either way- it could be in the 60's or the 90's- and sometimes its 60 one day and 90 the next at that time of year.  In late september it generally starts to gray up a bit and rain off and on as well, so be sure to check the weather before you go, Kings Island isnt much fun in the rain, with most of the rides shut down.  You may want to have a backup plan just in case- such as spending the day at the Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park.

Yes, there will still be lines, but if the temperature has dropped that weekend, you might find it to be not real crowded.  Be sure you are coming on the weekends, they are only open weekends at that point.
