  1. In Tokyo right now it's kinda hot, and it's been drizzling lately....


  2. summers are hot and humid. The humidity is generally the worst part of the summer and it generally stays humid throughout the night.

    June is the rainy season though it can go thru to mid-July. There are occassional thunderstorms in late summer.

    September is typhoon season.

    October and November the weather is great. Generally cool and clear.

    Winter is cold and dry but often with clear skies (Tokyo). It snows a lot in the northern areas - not so much in Tokyo.

    Spring is warm and sunny sometimes windy with rain but the cherry blossoms are out at this time so it's all good.

  5. I've just got back from a five week holiday in Japan and the temperature never dropped below 30 degrees celsius in the day and the lowest it dropped to was 21 (up in the mountains at night). It even hit 40 degrees once.

    There was only three storms in the whole time I was there, every other day is was roasting hot.
