How is the weather like in Italy from October till March?

from october to end of nov. is summer.

end of nov. dec. gen. feb. is winter. it could be very cold, or lot of rain, or sunny and good (expecially in south).

in march is strange, could be very cold or a begin of spring. to the end is obiviously warmer and sunnier.

i'm from Bologna, that's 1 hour of train from Florence.

Can be foggy, humid, rainy... not the best going up to north, you're going to go into the depressed part (as weather) of Italy.

South is much better, it's kinda cold but not as much as north.

Anyway, Florence deserves to be visited up and down, left to right... it's my fav city....

October - November...much rain...we are about 10 -16° C

December - January...sometime snow...we are about 7 - 0 °C

Sometimes march is similar to December .

Winters are quite cold.

France is very similar.
