Welcome to the world of Alternative Energy. Hydrogen may be a fuel which will save our power-hungry future, but we know what it's really good for: blowing stuff up. The Hydrogen Fuel Rocket uses hydrogen to launch a rocket up to 200 feet in the air (hence its name!) Even better, this rocket is very easy to set up and use. There is no gluing and with only minimal assembly, you'll have the rocket launcher assembled in about one minute. Mix the Propellant Crystals (Citric Acid) with water, and you have your rocket fuel. Time to find a good launch site!

  1. When you burn hydrogen you produce water vapour, which is a green house gas. Think of how much heat clouds can trap on a cloudy night. Water vapour has far more heat carrying capacity than CO2. Hydrogen as a fuel is not the answer to reduce global warming. With our present technology it takes more energy to produce Hydrogen than the amount of energy obtained from burning it. There for it is an uneconomical fuel to use as well as adding to the greenhouse effect.
