How is this summer going to be (summer 2008)??

how is summer 2008 goin to be? because in summer 2007 it wasnt hot and it rained a lot so i want to know if this summer is going to be hot. does anyone have a rough idea??? im in uk

summer... sounds good but unfortunately the majority of the world is too slack to think about it. Summer isn't going to be like it used to. No more steady sunshine, prepare for more than one season.

No one can predict the future.  Anyone who claims they know what the climate will be in the future is just guessing.  You would do as well by flipping a coin.

I am in the southern hemishere and we are having a very hot summer now  just like I rememer when we were growing up, if that is anything to go by.  What sort of a winter are you having?

Last April the global warming lobby warned us that in the UK we would have the hottest driest summer on record. We had one of the coolest wettest summers since the 1970's when the media was hyping global cooling and a decent into a new ice age.

so we will just have to wait and see, and take any predictions with a large pinch of salt.

i don't even want to think about the summer, probably i'll be in the mountains or someplace like that because here it was unbearable last summer (i live in Bucharest)

well here in Wichita, Kansas(USA) summer always means HOT!

Seeing that it's January and the weather has been pretty mild lately...who knows. I mean Winter hasn't been the same in a long time. You hardly see snow on the ground (depending on where you live...I guess).

But Winter has been mild lately. I really can't remember how last summer weather was but maybe it will be just the same as last years or a tad but hotter due to the mild winter.

All I know is that it better not be too hot because I can't stand the heat!!
