  2. HI,

Though not all wastes are processed in this way in bangalore. Vegetable watstes are ideally used as a renewable source of energy. First the wastes are collected and are transported to one of the many power plants situated in the outskirts of the city. There they are used in the generation of fuel gasses like methane, ethane etc.

  3. Dear Mr. Chirayata,

The vegetable waste in Bangalore has good demand. To be precise the procurer will reserve the waste on long term basis after paying the advance. The usage is as follows:-

The brokens and not much rotten vegetables will be taken away by road side eateries and small hotels.

The cabbage leaves are booked in advance by the cattle owners. And other wastage is being procured by them.

The remaining semi rotten waste goes to Pig, off course for a price.

In Bangalore, the Electric generation is not being done by vegetable waste. Though, we have a small bio unit, it uses the municipal waste.

Hence be careful when eating on road side eateries.
