  1. Australia is a very big country - as big as the United States so weather changes immensly across the country.

May is Autumn (Fall) in Australia so the temperatures is a little cooler. Sydney (the biggest and most visited city) has Max temperatures of about 20 celcius in May getting down to 9 celcius overnight.

New Zealand is colder as it if further south

  2. by May it is starting to get cold (cooler)there. The weather is the opposite of the weather in North America. When we have winter, they have summer etc etc.

The cold temperatures there (in Auckland) are like 10 degrees celcius. Not freezing cold. The coldest day might be frost on the windshield of a car.

  3. look it up on the internet. google, yahoo..........

  4. All depends on where in Aus./NZ you're going:

Australia will be generally warmer than NZ cos its further north.

Northern Aus is pretty much on the equator so its tropical weather.

Should be nice weather in most of Aust

Melbourne might be getting colder cos its the same latitude as Wellington, NZ

NZ is cooler - it would be from around 20deg celcius in the north to around the low teens to under 10deg in the South Island. It will be raining more, but should still be pleasant. Not really beach weather tho :(

.... you won't be getting frost on your windshield in May in Auckland! :)
