  1. im not really sure what you are asking but i think the berlin wall was after WWII

  2. There's too much, read a book (or the one you were assigned to)

  3. do you mean world war I? a prelude to world war II that resulted in germany splitting--east and west--hence the berlin wall. since you have access please read on line encyclopedia for in depth details.  Our president wilson was reluctant as was roosevelt on entering a war they initially considered non of the United States affair (my opinion only)  but as usual fair play and a sense of democracy and economics won out.  world war II generals should have bombed the rails leading to concentration camps and attempted to halt the exterminations (but then again my opinion).

  4. ok i have no idea what you are asking

  5. I don't think that WW I was really in itself a turning point in History.  The only thing about WW I that really changed anything was the Treaty of Versailles, which was so burdensome to the Germans that it virtually guaranteed the rise of something like the n**i Party.  The provisions were so harsh that it could only be expected that the Germans would be looking for someone that would resist the terms of it, and help them make sense of them managing to lose a war that was never even fought on German soil.

The Berlin Wall was erected to divide the East and the West, and was more intended to keep people of the East IN than to defend against attacks from the West.  That was pretty clear as people in the West were able to freely walk right up to it, the security zone was on the East side.  It wasn't really a turning point in History, as History progressed normally on the West side, while it basically froze in place until the wall came down for people in the East.

  6. they help shape the world as we know it.

  7. World War I because it was the first war to be fought on the global scale with so many nations participating. Previous wars were mostly locally fought within a certain territory or with a few nations participating. It showed the people how one nation's problem can be the problem of other nations too. It also showed people the consequences of war on such a global scale and the fact that it can bring about total annihilation.

The Berlin Wall because it's a symbol of unity, that there are no boundaries, when people want something, nothing can stop them. It was also the rise of Germany as an independent nation after being divided into East and West Germany.
