My little man is 3 weeks and 2 days old he feeds every 3 hours and is feed breast milk

He eats around 80-100 ml each feed

  1. my baby is 7 weeks and is bottle feed she eats anywhere from 2-6 ozs usually around 4 every 3-5 hours not sleeping through the night i think at 3 weeks she was eating 2-3 ozs every 3-5 hours. my first was also bottle feed but ate less she was small at birth and just didnt take as much

  2. My son is around 5 and a half months old. He is exclusively breastfed. He sleeps probably at least 12 hours at night, but only about 9 or so hours straight. He eats about every 3.5 - 4 hours.

At 3 weeks he slept from 6-7 hours straight (no feeds) at night. I think I must have a really good milk supply as he has never really eaten at night. He did used to be hard to put down, but it was a phase that passed. He was eating every 3 hours during the day maybe a little bit more often can't really remember that well.

I don't like pumping so I am not sure how much he drinks each feed.

Good luck, congrats on your baby.

  3. My son is almost 7 weeks old and feeds every 1-3 hours. Typically, every 3 hours.. but he has his evening marathon feeds where he wants to eat more often than that for a straight shot before bed. =)

When he was 3 weeks? Oh god.. constantly on the breast! No joke.. it was about 23/7.. 1 collective hour for me to do whatever I had to do that required him to detached (bathroom time, etc). I thought he'd NEVER stop eating!

He's gotten much, much better in these last few weeks and he sleeps longer stretches now -- instead of the few minutes to an hour at a time in light sleep then, he sleeps about 3 hours straight now and usually falls back asleep after he eats again. (But only if I'm holding him!.. though, his attachment is a completely different story..lol)

Your son sounds pretty good compared to how high-demand my son was (and is). Count yourself blessed! <3

  4. I had massive problems with getting my 3 month old son to sleep.  He would just lie awake and cry for hours, then when he finally went to sleep he would wake every hour or two hours through the night and cry again!  Talk about pulling our hair out .... we were absolutely desperate for sleep!

It was a baby sleep audio program recommended by a friend that finally saved us. We followed the advice and began by creating a baby sleep routine which included bathtime, dimming of the lights, putting Paul into his crib, final nappy change and then lullabies. We also made recommended changes to his naps during the day and used some of the other recommended techniques. Within two weeks he was sleeping through the night most nights with just the odd night where he would just wake once!

Definitely start by creating a good baby sleep routine though and you could find that solves most of your baby sleep problems.

    Good luck!

  5. My baby is breastfed she is 1 week and 1 day old and feeds every 3 hours.

  6. My daughter is now 4 months old and eats 4-6 oz. every 3-4 hours. At 3 weeks though she was eating 2-3 oz. every 2 hours.  She is formula fed by the way.

As far as sleep, I got lucky with her.  She is an awesome sleeper that never had her days/nights mixed up.  She has always been good at going right back to sleep after her feedings at night.
