  1. Well, It's blurry, but you can still see and read from afar pretty good though. I guess it depends on you condition of astigmatism and your daily schedule. Like say, for example, you are getting contacts to play you weekly basketball games. Why would you need to pay more for that, for only once a week? And you don't even need to see much! But on the other hand, if you are planning on using them everyday, then I suggest trying out a pair of torics to see how you feel in them. Good luck!

  2. Well you will still be able to see, but not as clear as you would with a Toric contact. When you wear a troic contact there is weight on the bottom of the contact to keep it from moving.

I would suggested trying a toric contact, you doctor should be able to give you a trail pair. Sometimes a doctor will over see a astigmatism because it is not that bad once you are at example: -1.00 -0.75 X 190 the yeah you astigmatism is high. There are some people that like to wear a regualr contact then a toric because they are in color or the tori lenses is way expensive, but you will be able to see better and you might be able to hold the astigmatism where it is at.

  3. Your vision would be much better if you wear toric contact lenses. It makes your vision much crisper. You'll be able to see if you wear non-toric contact lenses but not as good when you do wear toric contact lenses.

Depending on how bad your astigmatism is. Some people with mild astigmatism usually wear non-toric contact lenses. Its much cheaper but if your astigmatism is quite bad, I suggest you to wear toric contact lenses.

  4. It depends entirely on how much astigmatism you have.

If an astigmatism correction is the major part of your prescription, then wearing a regular lens probably won't help you much.

Your question actually is as vague as asking how many containers of water would it take to fill a wading pool....without knowing the size of the pool or the container.
