  1. you shouldn't quite your job until you have another....there is no specific amount of time for finding another job...just get out there and look for it...put all your efforts into it and be positive...it will happen faster that wya.

  2. I've been jobless for 5 months and have had applied to 15 places, gotten 5 interviews and 2 follow up interviews. I still don't have a job. It sucks bad to not work, I never have money unless I sell my stuff and my social life is suffering too. Just find a hobby or something to do, and don't give up finding a job cause chances are you'll find one sooner than I will!

  3. Believe it or not, there are much more jobless people than you think.

Use this time to improve yourself: Spend time on workout; Read more; Learn a skill or two; even do some traveling.

I bet money is an issue, too.

If you are single, don't worry too much about money now. Use credit cards. Don't worry too much- worries will wear you down.

FYI, average debts of people between 20 and 30 years of age in USA are $15,000.

How long does it take to find a job? usually, 3 months to 1 year.

Well, keep applying for new jobs while doing the listed above.

  4. Well, it is safe to say that you are not alone in that kind of predicament. A large part of the general population is unemployed (or under employed), most are even degree holders, and they get by.. probably they are currently looking for a job but it seems like most jobs available are not apt for them. Its a sad state. It feels worse when you see others progressing (while you are regressing). You just need to accept things as they are and believe all will be better soon. Be optimistic.

  5. I agree with: alicialions

Advice: despite that you cannot change the situation anymore; never quite a job before having another one. As we need the finance to support our way live :-)

I felt in my past nervous and impatient.

    1. You should update your CV

    2. Go out there subscribe yourself to all interim/ job offices, you can find..... if there are too many (5 a day).

    3. Look for known logistic companies in the phone-book and/or internet and call them (HR department) and tell them you interested to work for them.

If you did all the above and it takes longer than 1 a 2 weeks.... than apply for another type of job in the meantime (restaurant, temporary jobs, etc...) (This shows that you are flexible and motivated to work).

  6. first of all you should not quite your job .. there is a saying that don't fly off without deciding a stone to sit... and these days its really very hard to find job... but don't loose hope you can still try ...
