I'm wondering how it feels when you're in diffrent country which is 10k km away from your family..? If you know the language, you have friends.. Just no social problems, living normal life. How it feels? Do you want to come back home or not?

  1. It feels wonderful, until the neighbours get to know me and start complaining about my animals, and the store stops giving me credit and the the mail man ends up biting my dog and the the mechanic wont fix my car for free any more and the bank realizes I am a great risk and the ladies stop walking near my house and the ,,,,,, well should I go on , then I move again,

  2. Depending on the reason you went there in the first place. But home is always best.At a certain point you feel like going back home. The friends you had before and the new ones are all different so you get to miss every one so dearly.

  3. I come from Canada but haven't lived there for 35 years and am now in Australia.  That's about as far as you can get when a special occasion happens with the family and it takes 2 days to get there.  The flight is about 27 hrs. plus the time it takes to reach an international airport.  I was very sad when I first left but got used to it when my children were growing up.  It's sad because they didn't get the opportunity of growing up with the family but they're used to it.  I'm finding it more difficult now that I'm older.  My mother is getting on (86) and I'd like to be there but can't now.  I have lived in countries where I didn't speak the language and it was interesting.  As a woman, another woman will always help you I have found.
