  1. I think it really depends on where in the US. I don't really like the health care system there, so that would not be my first choice.

  2. from 1-10 how about 7

  3. Considering the low test scores, low breastfeeding rates, low parental leaves, its much less than other well developed countries.  However, at least its a developed country.  Although Ive yet to read the Toxic Sandbox, I want to, but nervous about what Ill find out.

  4. Well it's definitely more kid-friendly than say, Iraq. But it's not as kid-friendly as Australia.

  5. A ton.  ... think about it.. .United States.....France. C'mon.

  6. Come on! A LOT. Think about it.. take a second to realize that the United States is a lot friendlier than the country of Australia and Europe. A LOT. It's also a lot friendliar than Italy and Vietnamese.. also Asianese and Chinans. I'd say a 10 on letters won to ten!

  7. I think they are as kid friendly as you can expect with such a broad generalization of so many people in the country among the 50 states. :)

Even in a country that could be deemed kid friendly doesn't mean every single person in the country is kid friendly or that every place in it is kid friendly.

To answer your question I think that where I live in the US is kid friendly and family oriented to a broad degree,  but other places may not be as such.

  8. Of course, there are places that are kid-friendly and places that aren't, but overall, I think that it is kid-friendly!

  9. In terms of visiting the country- extremely kid friendly. There is always something everywhere that is family and child orientated.

In terms of living in the US- well, that is seriously split up by states and area. Depending on where you live, schools and education codes and protection can vary vastly.

On a general basis (overall view), I think you will find you'll America as a whole quite accommodating to children. Americans are (in general) very protective of their children. There are a few bad seeds, but that is in any country.

  10. A lot more kid friendly than many other countries.  US tries to protect the kids (overly protect in some cases) but many other countries put children to work in factories or use them to set of bombs and kill people...so I would say we would rate pretty high up on the kid-friendly list.

  11. The US is too kid-friendly to the point of labelling anyone a pedophile for even interacting with kids sometimes. There's a difference between treating children well and sheltering them from everything, and that's what the US is doing. We're a nation that loves fear and hype.
