  2. Hello; I have owned five Common Colombian Boa Constrictors, so I should be able to answer this one. :)

The size honestly depends on the individual animal and the gender. While average is 5-7 feet for males and 7-9 feet for females; many female Boas get larger then that. Of the five Boa Constrictors that I've had; my male's adult size was six feet, and my females were eight feet, nine feet, ten feet, and eleven and a half feet respectively.

They are quite variable in that regard; so if you were to get a female; you should anticipate her being in the eight-nine foot range, but be prepared for her to be even larger than that. Males are generally much more steady and predictable in the sizes that they reach.

Anyway; that is my two cents. :)

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions at all on the subject; please feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to assist you.

    Good luck!

  3. They can range anywhere from about seven feet to over 12 feet, depending on the subspecies.

If you want a more specific answer than that, you'll have to come up with the proper scientific name (i.e. Boa Constrictor Imperator, Boa Constrictor Constrictor, etc). Names like Colombian Boa, Common Boa, Red Tail, etc., are frequently used interchangeably and without specific rules, unlike the scientific names.

  4. they can grow to 10 ft plus normally nice temered but big enough to be an issue if they want to be

  5. they get to 6-12 feet large
