  1. The largest spider crab there is, is called a Japanese Spider Crab. These are the largest known arthopods in the world, with a leg span of almost 4 meters (13 ft), and a body size of up to 37 cm ( 15 in)! They can weigh up to 20 kg or 44 lb!
