How large is the Neocortex of ferrets.?

Are they capable of memory like dogs. Do they reason.

Some people say they have a 15 second memory span but I do know that they remember certain things like people and their favorite toys longer than that. but i would say the dogs memory is sharper. They do forget things like when they wake up they will sometimes go to the closest corner to go potty.
