  1. well the legal curfew (at least where i live) is 11or12 for teenagers. but im 13 and my curfew is ten too. thats pretty decent i think. but if you don't like it, figure out what you're legal curfew is and talk to your parents about letting you stay out later.

  2. alone, i'd say only till about 8-8.30 at nite. u r too young to stay out later than 8 by yourself in the first place, so i'd say have adult supervision. this may sound really annoying but u need protection in this worls of kidnappings, robberies, n rapes n what not.

    answer mine pls, http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

    thanx

  3. i usually am able to stay out as long as i want but only as long as my parents know where i am and what im doing.. and also i always have to have my mobile with me

  4. well im thirteen & im usually aloud out until about 12ish 1-ish in the morning. but your still lucky enough for 10.pm

its better than before 9:00 anywayss

    so dont push your luckkk

    tc

  5. I'm 13. I don't have a specified time except for in the school year. In the school year I need to be in by 7. In the summer and on weekends, I can stay out as late as I want as long as I keep checking in with her. Although I live in a small town (3,000 people).

  6. uh crazy.

10 is already pretty late for a 13 year old to be out.

staying out for longer is stupid.

so by the way, your friends are probably just trying to cool and staying out for longer.

  7. Wth is wrong with you people? all you guys just like the feeling of being like two or three years older, and saying 13 is so young. But they do need there freedom too, they are teenagers just like most of the people on here saying this stuff.

  8. I have 14yo son, 13yo son and 12yo daughter. They all stay up late until they get tired and want to sleep. I don't have a certain hour to send them to bed and I don't send them to bed since they don't bother me sleeping.

  9. My parents let me stay out until it starts to get dark here, but they trust me, and all of my friends parents are pretty strict, and we just hang out at her house. So its not as if we are doing anything like drugs or that kind of thing. And its usually all girls.

  10. Well, when I was your age two years ago, my mom only let me stay out unitl nine. Every year she let me stay out a half hour later. Maybe your mom will give you privilages, too, once she sees you earn them. :)

  11. Just be thankful your parents care enough about you to put some discipline in your life now. This will pay off for you later when you enter the real world and your friends realise their parents were less interested in their children's welfare and were just taking the easy option for a quiet life.

Even so, you should only be out at 10pm for a specific reason.

  12. I wasn't allowed to go out when I was 13.  I always thought everyone else was allowed to do things that I wasn't allowed to - boo hoo, but those people have made a mess of their lives now from being given too much free reign when their minds were not mature enough to make good choices.

I think you should get some dvd's, have some friends over and be a 13 year old why you can.  Plenty of time to be mature when you are mature.

  13. When i was at 13 and in boarding school i had to be in at 7.45. And being outside wasn't in the outside world, it was within the school gates on the bloody tarmac, think yourself lucky. Your 13 what have you got to do outside at that time of night besides getting pissed on cheap cider and having underage s*x in the bushes? I wouldn't let my kids hang out at that time of night, if anything they would be in their pj's settling down for bed.

  14. 9:30 the latest, (probably because a movie ended a lil late) otherwise 9 and in bed by 10! Consider yourself very lucky

  15. On school nights i have to be alseep by 9:30 and in by 8:00.

On non school nights i have to be asleep b4 12 and in by 10:30.

    im 13 too.

  16. i'll trade ya!!! i'm 14 and have to be in bed at 9!!!!!!! (i have a 10, almost 11 year old sister) but staying OUT until 10, LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can only go out if my mom knows where i am, drops me off, picks me up, and knows the people who i am with!!!

  17. depends on what you are doing. if it is a planned underage disco for instance then 10pm is fine other wise you should be home. bed time for my 13 year pld was 8.30pm. now she is 15 and stays up till 9pm and is only out of the house if there is a disco or movie. and home no later than 10.30pm

  18. Just ask your parents if you can have an event based curfew.

Tell them that its where you tell them your plans and a time when you will be home[within reason] and you stick to that.

That way you get to stay out later yet your parents still feel like they are in control.

You just have to check in every once in awhile and stick to your plans and the time you said you'd be home and everything is all good.

Its worked for me for quite awhile now.

I've never had to go rushing home by a certain time and i've never had to be the first one home.

  19. I don't think a 13 year old should be allowed to stay out (unless accompanied by an adult) after sundown.  15 or 16 is a better age for 10pm curfew.

  20. At age 13 I'd say 'till 9:00 without parent supervision or 11:00 with parent supervision.

  21. I would have said 8-9pm. I think you're getting it pretty lucky. I had to be home a lot earlier than that. Even when I was 16, I had to be home by 9. Be grateful that you're allowed out until 10. When you're older and more mature I'm sure your parents will give you a later curfew. They're not doing it to be mean and nasty, they care about your safety.

    ...

  22. When i was your age i had to be home every night at 530pm, i had a pretty strict upbringing and hated it. But i look back now and think i will do the same with my daughter, the streets are too dangerous and 13 is not mature enough to be out with out an adult..

  23. Lucky!

im 15, and mine is 10!

    i just sneak out anyway..

I think yours is very acceptable, so dont whinge about it.

  24. Your parents let you stay  out later than I would. Your friend's parents need to think a little more. What would you be doing after 10?

  25. 10 p.m. is enough. my kids are to be home by 9.00 p.m. you need your sleep too baby. gotta wake up nice and fresh for school next morning, hain na?

haven't you heard 'early to bed early to rise makes a man healhy ,wealthy and wise.'

so don't crib and enjoy what you have.

  26. 13? Please. In my house, you'd be indoors by dusk in the summertime, and by dinnertime during the school year.

You should go right now to thank your parents for being so incredibly permissive with you.

  27. 9pm unless at a supervised event with others and being collected by either a family member or another kid's parents.

  28. omg... at 13 i still had A bedtime!...at 9:30pm...

so be grateful that you don't have to be earlier than that.

Your friends parents are obviously irresponsible letting their 13 yr old kids out later than 10...

    - unless your hanging around with kids older than you.

im 16 and i have to be back before dark.... but thats because i have to bike two miles into town to see my friends... and then back home before dark...

i think your parents are being reasonable...

  29. shoot i'm 18yo and think even 10 is late.... my parents didn't give me a curfew till i was 16 and even then it 11pm lol....babe dun worry about staying out late cuz truley that's the worst time to be out-- there's nothing but trouble and bad things to meet n greet....MOMMY IS ALWAYS RIGHT you'll learn that!!

  30. No later then 10.  What are a bunch of 13 year olds going to do later then that? And your parents are the ones driving you around so they don't want to stay up all night waiting on you.  Wait until you are old enough to drive yourself places... then go for an extended curfew.

  31. aloud?  It's spelled allowed.

Before dark unless it's a sleepover or special occasion.  13 year olds don;t need to be out until 10pm.  I question any parent that allows it.
