  1. Dublin is really, really expensive city and it will cost you a fortune to live in the city itself. You should try Wicklow or Kildare and get the bus, train or dart into the city each morning. (Wicklow and Kildare are both about 3/4s of an hour from Dublin City Centre

  2. If you want accomadation southside a shared apartment will cost you at least 500 per month , buses cost 1.30 per journey and food and other stuff are all much more expensive than the rest of the country i think you could survive on 1830 per month relativly easily ,a student card will you give you discounts on transport and many high street shops.

    Welcome to ireland!

  3. HI YOU WILL JUST ABOUT SURVIVE ON THAT KIND OF MONEY AS THE COST OF LIVING IN IRELAND IS A BIT HIGH HERE.

  4. Yes that will be enough money

  5. Hi, you will not necessarily pay 500 euro by any means - I myself pay 480 euro in Donnybrook, which is an expensive area. For this I have my own double room and ensuite. You will pay anything from around 350 euro upwards for your accommodation. Look at the Daft website below to get more ideas on prices in different parts of Dublin.

For food, allow about 100 euro per week

For bills, going by my own experience, allow around 50 euro per month (gas and electricity)

Transport - depending on where you will live, which may not necessarily be the southside, by the way, you will pay around 2.80 or 3.20 euro per day return on the bus to the city centre.

I think you should be fine with 1830 per month - just remember to make allowances for any college textbooks, materials, and so on.

Hope this helps, email me if I can help you out any further.
