  1. very likely

  2. very likely

especially if you hit the metal frame with your head/neck whilst landing awkwardly

  3. We have 4 children and had a trampoline for years. We only allowed one to jump at a time and no one was EVER injured in the 8 yrs that we had it. There was a list of dos and don'ts and they followed the rules with a parent at home at all times.

My uncle had one and dug a hole completely underneath the frame so the trampoline was an inch above ground level - they had 6 children. No one was ever injured. They also had a whole list of rules.

Doing flips isn't going to hurt you - as long as you stay in the center. My daughters are divers and cheerleaders and practiced flips on the trampoline all the time - never a problem. You just don't want someone on there with you and you don't want to fall off, 3 ft off the ground. My kids just said, "Don't get in a bad position"  - so there you go.

  4. It is best to master basic skills BEFORE attempting advanced skills. That is the best and safest way to learn. People HAVE broken their necks while trying a back flip. It does NOT happen very often but it CAN happen.

Whenever you attempt any kind of somersaulting skill there is a little more risk of landing badly and hurting yourself than when attempting a non-somersaulting skill. So you have to be more careful when you try them or take lessons at your local gymnastic school where they use overhead safety belts that hang down from the ceiling. This makes learning them safer and less scary. You can sustain serious injuries without falling off the trampoline just by landing badly right on the trampoline mat but on your head or neck. That is why you should not over rely on safety nets that enclose the trampoline. They can be useful but are by no means foolproof. Your best safety investment is knowledge of correct technique. That is why lessons are always a good idea.

It can be useful to organize stunts into two groups: somersaulting stunts and non-somersaulting stunts. Within each group there are basic, intermediate and advanced stunts. However non-somersaulting stunts involve somewhat less risk of serious injury because they do not place the performer upside down over the trampoline where there is a chance a performer might by mistake land directly on the head or neck. Landing directly on the head or neck is how the most serious injuries most often occur.

There is a very good instructional 90 minute DVD video available that shows a great many cool trampoline stunts. They are taught and demonstrated in the order you should learn them by a WORLD TRAMPOLINE CHAMPION. This allows you to see what they look like when done correctly by an expert who first shows and performs the skill and then explains how to do it. 5. i think its likely my cousin broke his arm on the trampoline and i was on mine without a net and i flew backwards off of it just narrowly avoiding a metal pole from my swingset. so i think its likely

  6. There is a simple fix to this.  Just get one of those nets to go around the trampoline for safety.  Only have 1 person on the trampoline at the time and realize you could still get hurt.  STRETCH first to warm up your muscles to avoid tearing.  If you must have more than 1 person on the trampoline wear bike helmets to protect yourselves from injury.  Be smart.

  7. not likely because ive been on a trampoline for like 3 years havent had one injury beside the usual rash from sliding but backflips wont hurt you unless you dont have net thats totally different

  8. NOT LIKELY anyone who injures themself on a tramp is a bit ill in the head or was horsing around with another friend, by yourself its near impossible

  9. Almost guaranteed to injure yourself seriously, especially if this is at home and not at a gymnastics club.

  10. you will not get hurt if you are sensible but if like loads of people go on at the same time you will get hurt
