How likely?

I came of the pill about 4 days before I had a proper period then I had unprotected s*x 9-10 days after that started which according the internet is about the start of ovulation for my cycle. How likely would it be that I would become pregnant?

Although I am not trying for a baby it would not be the end of my world if I was.

Well, the pill does NOT build up in your system, which is why you MUST take it every day for it to work.  

It is NOT very likely that you are pregnant, but it is not that impossible either.

Upon coming off the pill, your cycle is out of whack. Some women are extremely fertile when they go off the pill.  (That is why you must use protection if you miss your pill...)

If you happened to ovulate upon coming off the pill, it is very possible to become pregnant.

The "average" cycle pinpoints ovulation at Day 14 or 15, but that is an average.. Take all the Day 10s and all the Day 20s and average them, and you get Day 14.

So...  it is possible, but probably not very likely.

The likely hood of your being pregnant is slim. Ovulation on a 28 day cycle typically is on day 14. So if you had s*x on day 9-10 of your cycle (from the time your period began) you are too early for ovulation unless your cycle is only every 18-20 days.

Ovulation typically occurs mid way through a cycle for most people. So, for instance, if your cycle is regular and its every 30 days, you should ovulate around day 15. If your period is irregular though, its even harder to determine your date of ovulation unless using a test kit.

If you have been on the pill for more than a year, a good rule of thumb is that it will take at least a couple months to have a chance to get completely out of your system. Medication builds up in your system so it would also need time to decrease to not being there.

If the man you had s*x didnt ejaculate in you, that narrows your chances even more. This of course unless you are fertile murtile.

My question would be, why would you go off the pill or have unprotected s*x if you arent trying to conceive?  You should reconsider this if you arent trying for a child.
