  1. Gen Patraeus is right where he should be - and McCain knows that as well as anyone.

  2. Not likely at all but it would be an excellent choice

  3. Not gonna happen, Petraeus is too busy with other work.  He was recently promoted to oversee all conflicts in the Middle East.

  4. Not very likely at all. It will not happen.

  5. Slim to none.  General Patraeus has already stated he would decline the offer.

  6. Not at all likely. Petraeus would have to retire from the military and I definitely don't see him doing that until Iraq is taken care of.

  7. I find it very unlikely. Last time David Petraeus was in the news it wasn't so pretty.

  8. As McCain lauds Petraeus' ability, taking him out of the military would appear foolish.  What is more important,  Vice President or a successful General leading an active war?

  9. Astronomically slim.  Petraeus is a soldier,  not a politician.

  10. I'd say it's a 1 in 300,000,0000 chance.

  11. Not likely at all.

McCain wants to be the general.

He wants a VP who will take care of the dull stuff like the economy.
