I want to go back to school and can't afford it on my own. So I tried applying for a Pell Grant. I was denied because they said I make to much. I'm almost willing to quit my job to get help to go back to school. But before I do that I want to make sure that I will qualify. My husband makes roughly about 1600 a month by himself.

  1. I dont know

  2. I make about 2 grand a month, average yearly salary of 16k a year. Pell covers everything for me.

Your husband's salary should be sufficient, just make sure you can both live on that before you do anything drastic.
