How lond does it take to fix a broken ball bearing on a 1999 gmc jimmy?

it just broke tonight and i dont need it tomorrow but i need it the next day to drive to school was just wondering if theyd have it done in a day?

  1. which one,there's many on that vehicle the time it takes is going to depend on which one it is,good luck.


  2. Are you doing it yourself or is it at a shop getting done and you want to know if they've had it too long?

    If it is being done by a garage, besides waiting for parts and possibility of having to send it out to have the bearing pressed in or if they do it there, really shouldn't be more than 2 days. That is assuming it is only the bearing and nothing else got damaged.

    If you want to do it yourself I suggest buying a "Haynes Manual" for your car. You can buy them at auto part stores or online. They're about $20 and they're made for the "driveway mechanic" to be able to read and understand.

    I buy a Haynes Manual for every vehicle I buy.
