It's been 2 years, we are not getting anywhere. Not engaged, not married just dating, just like we did 2 years ago. Is it time to give up on this relation ship?

  1. talk to him about wat he wants....

  2. You can't really set time to a relationship, if something happens it happens, if something doesn't then that's it.

It's really all about what both you and he want. Sit him down and talk to him about it, maybe he's not ready for that kind of commitment at this point in his life, ask him how he's feeling and what he wants. See if you two can compromise. If you can't then you can either wait until he's ready or end the relationship and find a guy who is ready for that type of commitment.

  3. Nothing personal against you. But I am getting kind of tired of hearing about women that want to be married or engaged, but they never communicate any of this to the guy. I know some women want it to be a surprise and all. But for one if you guys haven't really discussed it before or at all, then how can you expect a ring? And besides has the guy ever mentioned wanting to be married in general or no? Have you guys known each other longer than the 4 years? Because it would also appear rather obviously that you got back together and reliving the same habits when you were dating before. So best advice is to go and communicate with the man, be open and honest, and process what he tells you and then decide what is best for you.
