My sister, who is in Japan at the moment, is sending me a bundle of Vivienne Westwood scarves in the post. She's sending it tomorrow- does anyone know how long it would take for the parcel from Japan to arrive at my home in England?

I'm hoping it wouldn't take too long, because i'd like to have them before I go back to university in 9 days- but my boyfriend says it'll take much longer than that. Is he right?

  1. Which service did she choose? The service choice could make the delivery either 5-7 days or 14+.

  2. looks like it's not working.  your not getting any response.  ask her for the tracking number and you can check online.

i guess it could take 9 days because it has to clear customs first.  it was a pain in the butt trying to send something from the us to australia.  had to sign all sorts of paper saying that there's no dangerous goods involved.  once it got there, it was held in a warehouse for a week while australian customs waited for the paper from the recipient.  took almost 2 weeks before it got to where it needed to go.
