Good question....and it depends. If you keep foods generally above 160 degrees they can be consumed until you cook out all

the water in the dish or they drop below that temperature for a while. Bacteria begins to grow on foods when they are between

extremes of hot and cold. If you freeze something that was cooked. It can be consumed for several weeks. If you refrigerate a cooked item, generally it can safely be consumed for up to 2-3 days.  Best thing to do is use your nose. Bacteria tends to give off unpleasant odors. If something smells almost as good as it did when you cooked it, reheat and eat....as long as it hasnt been in the fridge for more than three days, freezer for more than a few months, or sitting out in the open at room temperature for more than a couple hours. Also if it doesnt smell appetizing, it is not going to taste appetizing.
