We recently put a layer of fertilizer in my back yard. Normally I let my bunnies run around my bunny-proofed back yard during the day and then put them in their hutch at night. lately Ive just kept them in their hutch, and let them roam around the living room for about an hour a day. When can I let them run around and hop and play in the grass? When is it safe?!

  1. I'd write down the name of the fertilizer and call your vet he would know best.

  2. I'd wait 'till it has rained at least 3 times or leave it 4-5 days.

  3. a couple days or until it rains

  4. 2-3 days

  5. The fertilizer has to decay and absorb into the ground.  3 weeks to be safe.

  6. 2-3 days

  7. well i would say a week or until it rains

to break the fertilizer down. If you let the rabbit

in the garden i would just keep an eye on it

if it licks the fertilizer in a large quantities it could

start vomiting but it would have to have had an extortionate

amount for this to happen. I wouldnt worry too much just

on the safe side i would leave it a week or until it rains and

it should be fine :) x

  8. The bag probably says 24-48 hours. I say 3 days at least, sooner only if there was a good rain.  That kind of animal is really down on the ground as opposed to other pets, so you really should be quite cautious with it.
