How long after LASIK surgery does it take for you to see normal?

I just had my surgery done 6 days ago, mornings are better and get blurry further away as the day goes on. Cloudy days are better than bright sunny ones. I guess I assumed after surgery I would walk out and be normal, driving isn't the greatest, and sitting at the computer words tend to get blurry. My doctor says this is all normal, but from others who have experienced this how long did it take for you to see prefectly in your eyes.

  1. it depends on how well you heal!!

You have had surgery!  Give your eyes chance to heal! You might find that the lubricating drops will work to help with the blurryness, when you concentrate you dont blink as often so your tear film dries up so things become blurry.  Because your eyes are damaged at the moment they are working really hard at healing themselves rather than lubricating themselves.

FDA trials say that it can take up to 6 months to for your eyes to heal completely.

    This is normal, dont worry

  2. I had LASIK surgery about 1 month ago. I did alot of reading, honestly everybody is different. I could see perfect the next day. My eyes were real dry for the first week though.

  3. It takes me about 2 weeks. After lasik, ur vision will not be as good in nite time but is very good in day time. it will improved over time like after 3months.

  4. One week typically to get u on your feet

  5. A week. I know that you are supposed to see the few minutes that they sit you up. I saw a few proceedures done on tv.   It would be best to relax your eyes if you can away from these types of activites if you will. Try closing your eyes for a few moments a night just so your eyes have a chance to rest for awhile.
