  1. 6 weeks...and, on a side note, 2 1/2 to 3 months to house break them

  2. The truth...6 months or over.

  3. i would take her now bc she needs other shots and they can give her all that she needs

  4. you should try at 6weeks - a mouth or you can just ask the nearest animal hospital or \ and a vet

  5. ASAP

  6. YEA u should it is very important and if u ove ur puppy u should keep her very healthy

  7. They usually have their first combination shot that protects against things like Parvo and Distemper, among other diseases, between 6 and 8 weeks old.  They will get a series of combination shots as a puppy, about 4 weeks apart.  So, make the appointment for the first set right away.  The Rabies and bordetella vaccines are generally given with the last of the combination shots, sometime between 4-6 months of age, depending on the vet and state laws.  Your vet can fill you in on the recommended vaccine schedule for your area.

  8. I would say, and I might be wrong, 6 weeks.

  9. umm, you should ask your vet(=

  10. Your puppy needs three sets of shoots in her first year followed by a yearly booster and rabies.

    1st booster - age 6 weeks

2nd booster - one month after the first one, usually around 10 weeks or 2 months

3rd booster - this comes with the rabies shot is one month after the 2nd booster

Some vets will speed up the waiting time between shots if your puppy is going out into the bush or traveling. Our lab got his rabies needle a few weeks early because he was being taken to the USA from Canada and was going out in the forest for hunting.

  11. Not till it is 4 months old do they get a rabies shot along with starting a heart worm program.

  12. ask your vet

  13. You should take the puppy to the vet now.  They generally have their first shots and worming around five to six weeks.  I have had two litters of boston terriers and they had their first sets at 6 weeks.

  14. They have to be 12 weeks or older for there first rabies immunization.

There is a puppy vaccination schedule on this website.

    check this website out.

  15. it usually depends on the size and weight of the puppy, and the volume of the shot.

  16. My dog was 3 months old when he was supposed to get it. But i gave it to him 2 months late because there was a problem with his papers. He's fine :) Just call your vet to make sure :)

  17. Six weeks would make sense to me. Why not take her by the vet- She'll have other shots she'll need anyways too :)

  18. ask the vet

  19. Puppies need a series of vaccines, at about 8, 12, and 16 weeks. The rabies vaccine is usually given at 16 weeks.

Take him to the vet soon. He needs a check-up and physical. The vet will also de-worm him; this is important, especially if you have small children. You can also choose to microchip him at any time as well.

  20. My vet does the rabies shot on the puppies' third set of vaccinations which would be when the puppy is between 9 and 12 months.

  21. Actually right now you need to be taking in for her evet visit to get shot series going and vet will advise as to when to do rabies.    I have a blog if you run into housebreaking problems etc.
