How long after a tattoo can you go swimming in chlorine/ocean water?

Tattoo was done 6 days ago is peeling nicely, no scabbing, how long before i can get inthe sun again?

Wait till its completely healed. There are a ton of bacteria and fecal matter in pools and oceans.  You do not want an infection. I would say 4 weeks.

yah definitely wait about one more week. Then it should be fine. Mine is tiny so it healed pretty fast. I guess it kinda varies on how good you take care of it and the size of it.

You should wait at least 2 weeks, until it isn't peeling anymore and all the scabs have come off on their own.  But really, I'd wait a lot longer, or you could expose your skin to all kinds of stuff.  I personally wouldn't get in any lake or pool or whatever for at least 6 weeks.
