How long after csection do you stay out of work?

i want to go back asap.. i want time with my kids as well but i work at night so i jus want to go back asap i have bills and twins now so money will be tight!

I had my c-section about 3 years ago. At the time I went back 6 weeks to the day.

I wasn't released for three months but my Dr. was kind of anal.

With my first my doctor said 6 weeks, I started back one day early and with my 2nd it was 8 weeks, I stayed home for 10 months.  That was my choice though.  Or rather choice made by circumstances.

MY SON IS NOW 3YRS OLD BUT I ALSO WENT BACK ABOUT 8WKS AFTER DELIVERY. I ALSO HAD COMPLICATIONS DUE TO THE SPINAL TAP, SO IT'S REALLY UP TO HOW YOUR FEELING, DONT RUSH IT BECAUSE THAT IS CONSIDERED MAJOR SURGERY

I am pretty sure it will like 8 weeks before you can go back to work 6 is for vag 8 for csection

3 months.

My aunt just got a c-section and the doctor said 3 months till she goes back to work.

You need to discuss it with your doctor.  I think it would certainly depend on what kind of work you do.  You should not be lifting ANYTHING or doing any strenuous work for a few months.  If it is a clerical job (working at a desk) that might be doable but you will need to take it easy.

at least 8 weeks by law. 6 for vaginal delivery.

there is no one saying you cant go back when you feel better, you dont have to take maternity leave.  if you work at night I can see that going back to work while your husband is there to watch the kids will help alot.

What I would suggest is that you atleast give you yourself two weeks and if nothing hurts. the soner you get up and walk around the faster the you will heal

When you feel up to it and are healed, do it! I had a c-section to and when you feel like it, you can do it! Just be careful and take things easy.
