How long after delivery, did you?

How did it look? Did you cramp? Mine just showed up at 6wks. No cramping at all. And it's really dark, almost brown...I see my dr next week so I'm hoping she says it's normal.

I'm not exactly sure. I bled for about 3 weeks after giving birth, then stopped, then started again about a week later..then continued for another week-so I'm guessing all of that was birth related. I think I had my regular period at 8 weeks.  It only lasted 3 days and no cramping also.  Maybe it's because we just gave birth and we don't think a period cramp is painful since we can compare it to labor now :)

If it's almost brown though, it's old blood. Meaning- I doubt it's your actual period.  It's probably left overs working it's way out. I know that sounds nasty...

2 weeks later with heavy cramping and blood clots....i was scared to death.  If you feel  uncomfortable you should contact an advise nurse.

After my first i got them 6 weeks later, with my next 2 i got them 4 weeks later and i'm pregnant now with 2 months to go, so i don't know about that one yet, hopefully 4 weeks with that one too.
