I got braces in March and after a few months they ran out of room to move for a better result, so he took the braces off the teeth that were being removed! i got the four teeth taken out today (monday) and I have an appointment on Thursday for my wires to be adjusted.. Is this enough time for this to go ahead?? It's only like two and a bit days so I'm not sure what I should do, I would ring but my mouth is that numb and sore that I won't be able to ring until tomorrow because they will be closed soon...

  1. Yes, it's fine to go ahead with the adjustments. My daughter had her braces adjusted soon after getting two of her upper teeth pulled. The orthodontist wants to get the space closed up as soon as possible and it can be done before everything is healed. In the case of my daughter, her gaps were closed up completely within a matter of a few weeks. I think some reasons are that the spaces are unsightly and they can cause problems with chewing food and cleaning the teeth.
