How long after feeding my corn snake should I leave it before handling him again?

I'm not sure how old he is but he's still fairly small (about a foot in length), and I know they don't like being handled when digesting food so I thought I'd check and see before I went ahead and got him out of the viv. Any ideas?

usually you should wait about 24 hours to hold them again.
