How long after flowers appear should I start to see cucumbers growing on my plant?

  1. it will take  awhile cause even if the flowers come you still need to guve time for th ecumcumnbers


  2. When your cucumbers start to bloom it more than likely will bloom with male blooms only. After a while you will notice a little cucumber on the vine with a bloom on the end of it. That is the female bloom and has to cross pollinate with the male bloom. Once it has and the bloom is set the cucumber will begin to grow. They grow quite fast. I have a 50' row and we had to pick daily to keep the nice size pickle cucumbers off the vine. If you have the salad cucumbers once they begin to grow you can have nice big ones in just a day or two. Harvest them any size you want but remember size dose matter. The bigger ones are not as tasty as the small ones. Just let them grow to a nice size and harvest.

  5. They start growing shortly after they are pollinated.  A lot of people are having a hard time with pollination again this year so you might want to hand pollinate.

  6. With my tomato plant it took about 2 weeks. I know they are different plants but just letting you know :P
