How long after having a baby...?

How long after having a baby can you take a pregnancy test and it be a negative? I had unprotected s*x about 2 1/2 weeks after having my baby but we used to pull out method, I don't really know what the possibility of being pregnant this soon after having a baby..and im not breast feeding.

you had s*x after 2 1/2 weeks of having your baby??!! wow!  I was told by my doctor that we had to wait atleast 6 weeks.  I don't even know how to answer your question....just take a test I would imagine.

i'm sure you  are not suppose to have s*x for 6 weeks after you have a baby. Doctor told me i could not for 6 weeks and after the 6 weeks it hurt for a long time after the 6 weeks was up.

Well, it takes about 6 weeks to have the hcg levels drop, but you need to see the doctor about a blood test, as that's the only way to be sure.

The chances of coming up pregnant after having a baby are huge, as your body startes producing eggs while hormones are at peak levels for conception. Don't have unprotected s*x, without a condom, unless you want another one immediately. Condoms also keep your risk of infection lower, as your immunity is down a bit for warding off scrapes inside.

After you have a baby your body is in major fertile mode.  You could very possibly be pregnant again.

You should definately go to a clinic or see your doctor and have a proper blood test done.  If you're not planning on having a child so soon and the test result is negative I think you should also discuss some birth control options.

you are not suppose to have intercourse for at least 6 weeks after having a baby.. I you suspect that you may be pregnant go to your doctor and have a checkup.. You should have one already scheduled since you just had the baby.. It is important to make sure you have not caught any type of infection as well. Goodluck..

You can get pregnant any point after having a baby, thats why they tell you to wait until 6 weeks when you can go on the pill or use a condom. Once you arent pregnant, you can take a test. But I would wait until 2 more weeks, you could have a false negative. Good luck and use condoms it isnt good for your body to get pregnant so fast and it happens a lot. Also if you are they will put you to be at a high risk pregnancy.

And for people who dont know, you can have s*x when you feel is ready. The doctor suggests 4-6 weeks

Having s*x that soon after giving birth can cause a lot of problems...but I'll just answer your question.  After pregnancy you are very fertile...so there is a chance you can be pregnant again.  But it may take some time to get a true positive.  Get a blood test done if you are that worried!

First, two weeks is too early to start back having s*x after you have delivered.  It can cause a lot of problems and even cause some infections.  That was not a good move.  I wouldn't rely on the pregnancy test at this point, b/c your hormones are still really high.

you might wanna call the clinic and talk to the dr.. they'd know best... And I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to have s*x that soon after having a baby anyway.
