How long after having my wisdom teeth removed until I can go out?

I had my wisdom teeth (all 4) taken out yesterday and I am pretty puffy today. I want to go to a concert on friday and today is tuesday. All the stories I hear say that people were fine in 2 weeks. I'm wondering if anyone had a fast recovery to give me hope that I can go to the concert.

Heck yeah dude, go to your concert!  Hopefully you did the ice thing the first 24 hours, it really helps with the swelling.  If not, then be sure to take those 800 mg motrin.  And eat your vicodin too.  I dont know if your used to takin vicodin or not but if not it might make ya lil sleep so dont take it that night.  Having your wisdom teeth removed isnt like having some big major surgery.  If you feel like it, do it!  You should be fine.  If you got anymore questions feel free to e-mail me.

It really depends on what you think. I had my wisdom teeth removed and was pretty much passed out for three days afterward (from the strong painkillers that I was given). If you are on pain pills then you will not want to drink at the concert and depending on your pain tolerancy, you may not be able to open up your mouth too wide to scream at the top of your lungs, but in my opinion, you should not have any other trouble.

i got one pulled and went out to the movies a few hours later with some friends.. gauze and everything.. my friends thought it was hilarious hearing me talk.. i felt fine.. but i never did get puffy..i'm sure you will be okay.
