After the time you wait to get a citizenship, what else do you have to do? Tests? Is there a waiting time after the tests until you get your citizenship?

  2. Five years, unless you got the green card through marriage, in which case it is three years.

You have to submit the N-400 form and then you follow the process.  The time depends on where you live, amoung other things.  It can take from six months to over two years.

  3. in my family's experience, you have to wait about 5 years before you can apply for citizenship.  after a month of two wait, you'll get a letter stating that you need to get fingerprinted. after you get fingerprinted, it'll be another couple of months, whether it be 6-12 months that you'll get another letter giving you an interview date.  at the interview, they'll ask you about u.s. history, personal questions etc..if you pass, you relinquish your greencard there, and then they'll give you another date (about a month later) where you show up for your swearing in ceremony.  good luck!
