wait a few days after it has completely gone away. if u give your partner oral s*x u can pass HSV1 onto their genitals. while its healing u can still pass it on. as well as while there are symptoms and while its visible.

if HSV1 is on your face then u can use creams like Abreva or Lipactin (u shouldn't use both so pick one) to heal it up faster.
