well it is different for every woman but it could take a u to 6 months and it also depends if you are breast feeding to. so i hope i was help good luck

i took a year for my period to come back...i think in part because i nursed for 8 months.

its different for everyone, but i bled until my son was 6 weeks old, then i went on the pill, and i had a period after the 1st month of being on the pill.

If you are on the pill, you will get the usual withdrawal bleeds after your finish a pack of pills.  You will not get a normal 'period' (bleeding following ovulation) until you stop the pill.

It varies from woman to woman.  It takes longer if you're breast feeding, too!
