How long after laparoscopy surgery can I try to concieve?

I just recently had surgery on 7/24 and my next menstrual is due on 8/12 and i wanted to know how long should I wait before having intercourse to concieve?

  1. When it is time for you and your body to return to normal sexual activities your doctor will let you know.  I had surgery on 6/13 to remove a fibroid and multiple polyps. My doctor released me on  7/3.  My cycle normally comes around the 26th or 27th of the month. So I am waiting now.


  2. well i had a lap and dye with ovulation drilling back in sep last year and nobody mentioned anything about it to me, but I'd say wait a week or 2 because I'm sure your tummy will be a bit sore.

    you could anyways phone the gynaecologist Secretary to ask they are usually happy to help.

  3. I had one of them, and you need to wait for 6 full weeks before trying to have a baby. I didnt get pregnant too long after mine, of course talk to your dr. before doing anything
