How long after my husbands chemo do we have to wait before we can try for a baby?

My husband has had testicular cancer and was treated with BEP chemotherapy. He has just finished his treatment and we were wanting to know when we can start trying for a baby. We have some sperm saved at the sperm bank but we are trying to avoid the IVF route.

Dose anyone have any information about our question?

Your best bet would be to ask his doctor this question.  I would assume you could try right away, since only the "good" sperm will make it to the egg and the others, if hurt from chemo, will not get very far.  Goodluck!!
