  1. 4-5 weeks from the date of s*x

  2. well it depends on the the test you buy look on the boxes to see or on the internet but you should wait two weeks or so cause any earlier it might give you a false result

  3. Sometimes our anxiety about being pregnant can cause symptoms. If you don't have regular periods you need to wait about 3 or 4 weeks from the time you had unprotected s*x in order to take a home pregnancy test. A doctor can take blood to see if you're pregnant even sooner than that.

I have the same problem as you: irregular periods. It was difficult for me to get pregnant. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) when I was a teenager. Initially I was put on birth control pills to help regulate my cycle.

It can be scary to be sexually active, not on birth control pills, and not having regular periods.  Get checked out by a doctor.

Well... you should be able to take a test apprx. 4-5 weeks after you've had s*x. Since your cycle is soooo "Irregular", it's not likely for you to become pregnant, but still "possible", so I suggest, you make an appointment at your GYN to be for sure !! Those "home-tests" are not all that "accurate", so get tested at your doctor, please !!!

Wish you the result you aspire!!! All the best to you!!!! Greetings from Germany.... and lots of love... Annette***

  5. I have irregular periods and I still got pregnant. It's hard to tell with people like us b/c usually the 1st sign is missing a period and that's not unusual for us. I suspected I was pregnant b/c my tummy was big. And, that was the only way I found out. Also, irregular periods tend to give invalid test results. I got many invalid & negative results & I was in fact pregnant.

  6. If your periods are so irregular that you only have one once a year then there is probably something else going on there, and if you are having a medical issue it will probably reduce your chances of getting pregnant.

In the event that you were ovulating at the time that you had unprotected s*x I would wait about 18 days past that date to test. The only time you can get pregnant is up to three days before you ovulate and on the date that you ovulated. The luteal phase is the time after ovulation leading up to your next period and it usually lasts between 10-16 days. I would wait at least 18 days to be sure.

I would see the doctor because they need to figure out why your periods are so irregular.

  7. You should wait about three weeks, even if you are irregular you should know something then.

  8. condoms.
